JPMorgan Chase Product Development - Cash and Liquidity Data Lead - Vice President in New York, New York

The Securities Services Product Development team is the 'change champion' for the organization, tasked with driving execution of the business' core investments in programs that deliver growth, scale and efficiency across our broad array of product lines. Product Development is at the center of business-critical transformation, leading a multitude of programs that are imperative to JPM defending and growing an industry leading position far into the future. The team partners with a number of stakeholders to drive success, including product/business owners, operations, sales and client service in order to promote uptake and monetization of new services and tools, giving all members a unique end-to-end view into how our business achieves success. Team members have varied professional backgrounds across industries and competencies which promotes diverse approaches to problem solving and overall better outcomes.

Job Summary:

As a Product Development Vice President, you will define, create, have oversight and cross-functional adoption of data products that underpin the CLM business. This includes governance of all data points that are critical to client experience as well as internal business management. You will also be placed on pathways to internal and external data distribution via traditional and advanced channels such as JPMorgan's new Fusion platform. You will be expected to liaise with data leads across Securities Services' other lines of businesses such as Custody, Collateral Management and Agency Lending to ensure a consistent experience for our cross line of business clients and internal business management teams.

You will be expected to have close coordination across the Securities Services ecosystem, allowing you to gain valuable exposure to other business lines, creating future 'change' opportunities in the data space or other core competencies of interest.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product management and operations leads to explore internal and external cash and liquidity management (CLM) data product requirements

  • Establish oversight procedures for CLM data standardization, creation and distribution with ownership of the business's data dictionary

  • In partnership with our technology experts, drive execution of CLM data adoption and visualization programs, including integration with JPMorgan's Fusion data platform

  • Coordinate the user testing and rollout of new CLM data products, managing feedback and implementing additional enhancements based on priorities.

  • Manage effective working group meetings across Product, Operations and Technology to deliver on key services and tools

  • Participate in and contribute to the broader Securities Services JPMorgan data strategy to identify opportunities for improvement and present those ideas to senior management

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 7+ years in a Product Management or Product Development environment

  • Ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams and be personally accountable for achieving key milestones

  • Be able to progress initiatives in a cross-functional and matrixed organizational model and guide product enhancements through required development, testing, and release management

  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and conversion into a reportable format - Attention to detail is key

  • Strong communication and influence management skills, ability to articulate complex ideas and analytics in a succinct way

  • An independent contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode on multiple assignments

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Cash, Liquidity Management and Core Custody Product expertise is a plus

  • Previous Project management or Business Analyst experience would be an advantage

  • Lead design workshops and brainstorming sessions - comfortable with public speaking
