DUTIES: Align to sales support in the local regional territory including Technical Discovery and Technical Deep Dives; demos, presentations, POVs/PoCs; sizing. Document technical decision criteria: and plan and execute technical feasibility workshops. Consult with C-level customers and consult on their application development strategy. Professionally articulate business value of MongoDB solutions. Provide technical guidance and feedback for internal Slack communities, and product management teams to identify strategic product direction on the core product and associated focus areas. Enable local SA teams. Provide backup to ensure the team can articulate MongoDB’s value proposition and business model by educating and mentoring employees at different levels. Assist in Technical Enablement of CAE/EAE teams. Assist in Technical Screening of potential SA candidates. Present at formal technology events, representing MongoDB. Contribute significantly to internal knowledge documents/sales decks/demos/whitepapers. Must appear in office 3 days per week; working from home permissible 2 days per week.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five [5] years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in IT software role, in the job offered or related role. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree or a foreign degree equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Any suitable combination of education, experience, or training is acceptable.Experience and/or education must include: 1.Building prototype applications for prospective clients with at least two (2) of the following: MariaDB, AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, Document DB);2.Sizing highly complex NoSQL environments (Multi-Terabyte, Multi-Shard, Multi-Product environments);3.Knowledge of Competitive technologies, at least one (1) of the following: DocumentDB, CosmosDB, PostgresDB;4.Handling complex objections live, turning them into additional discovery/qualification topics (with suitable follow-up as required);5.Creating detailed Technical Champion Building Plans;6.Creating strategies that map specific industry trends to account base within their territory or country; and7.Professional experience with at least two (2) of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or similar.
