Gemini Space Station seeks Principal, Credit Risk in New York, NY.Duties: Set acceptable risk levels and assess the credit risk of the target market. Develop an underwriting model based on the strategic plan and test it for accuracy, predictability, and effectiveness. Prepare full governance documents for the model including the structure, variables, weights, and execution process. Test and report on the model’s effectiveness. Report and track metrics to ensure acceptable risk. Oversee account management functions including credit line management, minimum payment, and delinquencies. Develop key vendor relationships and partner with the Fraud Management team to identify and combat patterns of credit fraud. Teleworking is permitted within commuting distance to worksite.Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or a credit risk management-related occupation.
