Meta Planning Lead, Monetization Incentives in New York, New York

Summary:

The Sales Strategic Planning & Operations team is seeking an experienced Planning Lead to design and execute the investment strategy for Meta’s incentive programs. As a key member of this team, you will operate as a trusted strategic advisor with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Finance to drive alignment on investment decisions, providing objective and data-driven insights to inform business strategy and optimize resource allocation. You will be responsible for driving global revenue programs by applying strategic thinking and data-driven insights to optimize investment decisions, leading cross-functional teams to establish a best-in-class governance model and rhythm of business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial modelling, budgeting, and strategic planning, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results in fast-paced environments.

Required Skills:

Planning Lead, Monetization Incentives Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with leadership to design and implement high-impact strategies that maximize ROI for Monetization Incentives, by leveraging data-driven insights to inform investment decisions and optimize program performance.

  2. Design and execute strategic analytical projects that leverage internal and external data sources (including revenue, product, and market trends) to inform program development, drive business decisions, and optimize outcomes.

  3. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive ROI measurement framework that provides actionable insights across programs, solutions, and partners, in close collaboration with Data Science and Analytics teams to ensure data-driven decision making and optimization of investment strategies.

  4. Partner with Finance and Sales Strategic Planning & Operations teams to develop a unified planning approach that aligns with Meta's overall business strategy, driving improved performance tracking, enhanced decision-making, and successful delivery of key objectives for our Incentive programs.

  5. Analyze and optimize our investment portfolio across programs to identify opportunities for consolidation, expansion, or realignment, driving maximum ROI and strategic impact.

  6. Design and maintain a robust performance tracking architecture that underpins our planning process, spanning from high-level incentive allocation to detailed commercial modeling at the deal level.

  7. Drive a disciplined rhythm of business, delivering regular strategic management activities (monthly, quarterly, and periodic) that provide actionable insights on program performance, competitive landscape, and market trends.

  8. Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of key performance indicators and metrics that provide real-time visibility into program performance, enabling data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

  9. Leverage advanced data analytics and modeling tools to drive business outcomes by building predictive models, conducting in-depth analysis of our programs, and developing actionable recommendations for management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience in roles such as Sales Operations, Finance, Consulting, Business Operations, FP&A, or Strategy

  2. Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or similar discipline.

  3. Demonstrated expertise in developing and applying business models, scenario planning, and forecasting techniques to drive strategic decision making and inform business outcomes

  4. Demonstrated experience presenting technical content to general audiences

  5. Advanced experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides

  6. Proven experience in compliance and payments, working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, and Accounting.

  7. Experience in extracting and manipulating large datasets using data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and turning the data into actionable insights

  1. Proven track record in synthesizing analytical insights to influence decision-making and communicating effectively across business and technical domains (including to executive audiences)

  2. Experience of consistently driving projects forward and finding opportunities to increase impact

  3. Experience in a management consulting firm, investment bank, or a high-growth tech company

  4. Advanced degree in a quantitative field

Public Compensation:

$152,000/year to $214,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
