OVERVIEW:

A& M Fund Management Solutions works with private equity managers and provides our clients with solutions to optimize the operations of their businesses. Our goal is to improve efficiency and reduce risk across the non-investing aspects of a manager's business, and to provide benefits through hands-on involvement in our clients' operations. Our job is to support PE firms to enhance and optimize how their operations function.

CFO Services Provides the following pillar of services

  • Strategic Analytics & Planning
  • Performance Measurement & Management (Funds & Management Company)
  • Business Transformation
  • Investor Reporting
  • Valuation
  • Treasury Functions
  • Operational Review and Improvement (e.g., HR, Administration, Technology, Insurance)


PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS:

Data Collection, Validation and Analysis
  • Develop information requests based on the specific project scope
  • Lead client interviews and ask the right questions in order to gather meaningful data
  • Identify information gaps through trend analysis, pattern recognition
  • Investigate beyond the first logical answer and challenge preconceived beliefs with fact-based analytics
  • Deep dive into all relevant data, improve management reporting, and develop reliable and transparent forecasting
  • Develop storyline messages using supporting facts and analyses, ensure data and branding standards flow accurately and consistently throughout the presentation

Project Management and Implementation
  • Ability to own and complete a workstream based on the pillars of service Fund Management Solutions provides
  • Review and provide inputs to all work products, and ensure that all client deliverables are presented logically and accurately
  • Set reasonable timelines/expectations and align such with client
  • Develop financial models (e.g., three statement forecast, liquidity forecasting) and client presentations independently and accurately
  • Develop bespoke solutions with creative approaches as circumstances warrant


Teamwork
  • Promote a team environment where diverse ideas and opinions are encouraged
  • Share knowledge and experience, provide coaching to teammates


Financial Acumen
  • Ability to build and review various financial models, provide valuable financial analysis and evaluate accounting treatments
  • Ability to provide valuable insight and improvement initiatives to senior management and board members


Accreditation/Experience:
  • 3-7 years of experience related to: Accounting / Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Investment Banking or Private Equity with experience at a fund/asset manager or equivalent business strongly preferred
  • Graduate of accredited 4-year college / university with educational concentration in relevant areas (accounting, finance, economics) preferred but not required
  • Experience in building integrated financial models including strong Excel/PowerPoint skills
