Piper Sandler & Co. Part-time Internship - HR (Campus Recruiting) in New York, New York

We are currently looking for an undergraduate intern to support the Campus Recruiting team. This is a part-time internship, and we expect this individual to work approximately 15-20 hours/week in our New York, NY office. This individual will assist with a variety of steps throughout our recruitment process and will support a team of recruiters.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with virtual & in-person interviews ("superday" interviews) in various office locations for hires: includes organizing logistics, creating schedules, and managing communication both internally and externally
  • Support team with Career Exploration Program planning & logistics
  • Assist with the preparation for the Investment Banking intern & new hire training
  • Attend intern and recruiting events
  • Assist with coordination of MBA recruiting and events
  • Assist with coordination of undergraduate spring recruiting and events
  • Post open positions within our applicant tracking system and to other relevant job boards, social media and networking affiliations
  • Communicate with candidates and provide information & updates as needed.
  • Administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at a time
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members as well as autonomously on projects and tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially telephone skills, required
  • Strong client service skills
  • In process of obtaining bachelor's degree
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required

The anticipated starting salary for New York City-based individuals expressing interest in this position is based off an hourly rate of $20-$30/hour
