Job Description: OTI Research and Collaboration (R&C) Project Management Support - Pay Rate: $65 to $70 per hour Location: Remote Schedule: Normal business hours Monday-Friday 20 hours/week (not including mandatory meal break after 6 hours of work). SCOPE OF SERVICES: The high-level scope of work will include: 1. Assessment and enhancement of existing project management practices * Provide support on evaluating PM practices to determine effectiveness and areas for improvement * Develop new PM procedures, materials, and implementation plans as needed 2. Ongoing project management for team portfolio * Work with team leadership to identify high-priority projects in need of PM support * Carry out PM tasks for identified projects Page | 1 TASKS: For more specifics, the following tasks and deliverables for this scope of work would include: Part 1: Assessment and Enhancement of Existing Project Management Practices The vendor will support through the following: a) Meeting with team leadership to learn about existing approaches to project management, including procedures and documentation. b) Analyze current practices and identify process and material improvements. c) Develop and create implementation plans for new procedures and related materials to enable improved project management across the team. Part 2: Ongoing Project Management for Team Portfolio The vendor will support through the following: a) Working with team leadership, identify key high-priority projects with complex project management needs, and triage others for subsequent prioritization. b) Stand up project management support for selected projects. c) Carry out ongoing project management during duration of engagement. Deliverables Deliverables will include the following: Part 1 Page | 2 a) Analysis of current project management practices, including assessments of current documents and procedures, and recommendations for changes. b) Revised Project Management Procedures. c) New project management documents, including at minimum a Project Plan Template. Part 2 d) Project Prioritization List. e) Respective Project Plans for projects on the Project Prioritization List. The timeframe for the overall engagement is 12 months, from February 2025 - January 2026, as follows: * Part 1: First 4 weeks of engagement * Part 2: Remainder of engagement MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE A minimum of four (4) years of prior experience providing project management services. * At least 4 years of experience with project management practices and procedures. * Experience working with City government stakeholders and City public-facing initiatives. * Ability to engage with stakeholders to suggest recommendations and communicate priorities and decisions needed. * Excellent organizational, analytical and presentation skills. * Ability to balance complex workload of concurrent tasks and projects.
