The Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Lab: The Inclusive Ventures Lab is Morgan Stanley's in-house startup accelerator focused on promoting financial inclusion and providing access to capital for early-stage technology and tech-enabled companies led by underrepresented founders. Launched in New York in 2017, and expanded to London in 2021, the Lab offers an intensive five-month program designed to help further develop and accelerate startups.

The Inclusive Ventures Group is seeking an Executive Assistant to primarily support the team's two Managing Directors and one Executive Director. The individual should be a self-starter, solution-oriented, comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and very service oriented with a great disposition. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for performing an array of administrative functions requiring confidentiality, initiative and sound decision making. This role will be based at Morgan Stanley in New York, NY.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES -Required to demonstrate tact and good judgment in confidential situations and with handling material nonpublic information -Telephone coverage: - Answer phones, take accurate messages, know team members' whereabouts at all times, handle urgent/confidential calls with professionalism and sound judgment -Able to work well remotely with the team when they are traveling -Heavy client interaction with high-level executives of the Firm; act as liaison with clients and their assistants -Maintain calendars for the team, schedule all respective meetings and conference calls, field e-mails and phone calls requesting meetings, handle meeting conflicts and prioritization issues -Manage all aspects of the office space and technology - ordering supplies, equipment, maintenance, etc -Coordinate all aspects of employee onboarding and office set-up - order phones, equipment, set-up access, etc -Coordinate all related conference rooms including any catering, audio/videoconference set up -Arrange all aspects of travel, keeping team's travel profile up-to-date, manage approvals, arrange flights, hotels, rental car and sedan service, currency exchange where applicable -Prepare all itineraries; prepare and submit all expense reports on a timely basis, following up on discrepancies and missing receipts to maintain current balances -Prepare all Events& Conferences Proposals and vendor information, payments and invoice processing -Type correspondence, memos and presentations, prepare presentation and meeting materials; copy, collate, bind if necessary -Maintain online filing system, correspondence and documents for the team and the Inclusive Ventures Lab -Navigate Firm's resources, interface with various departments on behalf of the team to collect information, respond to requests, obtain services -Retrieve research, background, due diligence or other necessary materials from intra/internet -Send and retrieve digital and inbound faxes; Open and distribute mail, sort and prioritize; arrange messenger and overnight package services as necessary -Miscellaneous support: setup and maintain mail groups, keep orderly, fully-functioning work area

-Exceptional communication, writing, judgment, and problem-solving skills -Excellent attention to detail as well as solid organization/time management skills -Must be an enthusiastic, proactive, positive team player who is willing to help out and who works well with colleagues -Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently -Experience with client communication and building client relationships -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook for email, calendar and contacts - Knowledge of other applications are helpful including Excel, PowerPoint, invoicing, internet and research tools -Keep up to date with office procedures and technical training as well as all policy guidelines and compliance requirements

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentivepackages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
