Job Summary:

As the Mobile Development Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of our mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality mobile solutions that meet our business objectives and exceed user expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the mobile development team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications.

  • Identify and address potential issues and risks during the development lifecycle.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our mobile solutions remain cutting-edge.

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

  • Provide technical leadership in architectural discussions and decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in native mobile development, with a strong portfolio of successful iOS and Android applications.

  • Proficient in Swift, Objective-C, and Kotlin programming languages.

  • Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and mobile SDKs.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience with code conversion/porting from Flutter to Native is a plus.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $203,000 - $208,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
