Wells Fargo Mid-Corporate PM Senior Analyst (Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager) in NEW YORK, New York

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Mid-Corporate PM Senior Analyst in Commercial Banking to work in partnership with small deal teams that provides research, analysis, and underwriting to prepare recommendations to extend credit and monitor existing credit relationships.

In this role, you will:

  • Research complex financial and credit information for commercial businesses according to business unit standards for Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management within Commercial Banking

  • Assist with credit analysis, industry and business risk analysis, and financial modeling and projections in support of loan structuring decision making activities and determining creditworthiness for Mid-Corporate sized companies

  • Exercise independent judgement while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • General responsibilities include working with risk, relationship managers, and credit to originate, monitor, and grow Mid-Corporate relationships

  • Specifically accountable for credit underwriting and origination, portfolio monitoring, renewals, and annual reviews

  • Collaborate and consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand credit needs and represents the bank in developing and maintaining client relationships

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data

  • Ability to perform in depth commercial financial statement analysis

  • Knowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital markets

  • Underwriting experience

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including using Excel for financial analysis and projection modeling

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including ability to present to decision makers and customers in a professional and confident manner

  • Experience with nCino

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
