Devise mechanical and technical solutions for problems in construction, manufacturing, and building environment design and function. Answer client questions about the design and coordinate with clients regarding issues raised by contractors. Coordinate workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians, including reviewing to verify quality. Engineer solutions for detailed design and prepare technical specifications. Continually ensure practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the client’s best interests and comply with current legislation and the relevant building codes for the relevant state. Train young engineers on designing HVAC systems. Create and run programs and scripts for computational design to minimize hours spent in model design and development. Champion the development of computational tools and train engineers to effectively implement these tools for each project. Educate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design teams on the design considerations required for Passive House certification for MEP systems. Coordinate work-sharing with other global offices. Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field of study, plus two (2) years of experience with devising technical solutions for problems in construction, manufacturing, and building environment design and function; performing computational design to develop and implement tools to enhance efficiency and quality of design projects; and, international building codes and standards.

Minimum Salary: 82000 Maximum Salary: 92000 Salary Unit: Yearly
