NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing Marketing Assistant in New York, New York
Position Summary
The Marketing Assistant at the New York University's Press will support the Marketing Manager in the exhibits program for major book conferences. The Marketing Assistant will also provide clerical support for the Marketing Department including support for author events, awards, and the creation of marketing materials.
Qualifications
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
2+ years 2 years Office Experience
Preferred Experience:
1+ years 1-2 years of publishing experience (with Associate's degree).
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Moderate, accurate keyboarding.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with intermediate-level Microsoft Office and Photoshop. Good writing and proofreading skills. Familiarity with InDesign and/or Quark.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $34.852. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
