RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Managing Director will be responsible for providing a range of valuation advisory services including business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, intellectual property valuations, stock option valuations, reviewing values of hedge funds and private equity interests, and dispute consulting.

• Managing client relationships; identifying and developing opportunities to enhance relationships with existing clients/contacts and new potential business (existing services or identifying and/or developing potential new services/products)
• Working with management to build and maintain client relationships
• Interviewing clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement
• Providing insight and expertise on target industries, market and competitor information
• Managing valuation analysis, including determining appropriate valuation methodology and building and reviewing financial models
• Reporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including written reports
• Attending relevant industry events to broaden your knowledge and experience
• Manage and oversee an existing professional staff to perform valuation services
• Recruiting, training, developing and evaluating valuation professionals and administrative staff
• Identifying cross-marketing opportunities within and across Kroll
• Overall engagement responsibility for multiple engagements, as well as potentially other Kroll service offerings
• Demonstrating support in advancing company and practice objectives of profitability, professionalism and teamwork with colleagues and clients

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, with further experience and/or qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Economics, MBA from an accredited college/university, or additional professional accreditation such as CFA or ASA
• Demonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships and mentoring and developing staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
• Experience working with diverse teams
• Minimum 15 years of working within the professional services industry, focused on reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, stock option, and commodity contracts / forecasts, and other intangible asset models

The current salary range for this position is $200, 000 to $500, 000.
