Overview
The Manager of Multicultural Investment and Innovation will report into VP level team with close partnership with other members of the PMX and PMCQ team. In this role, they will engage with marketplace and foster relationships, communication, and collaboration within the vendors and agency. Build long-lasting relationships with existing and emerging partners, while staying close to industry trends to help shape the go-to-market strategies and business growth for agency products.
Have a deep understanding of the media landscape, a strategic mindset and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Stay current on industry trends, with a strong focus on ever-evolving digital landscape, emerging media channels, and competitive activity to help inform innovative media strategies and recommendations. Foster development of streaming ecosystem, while also cultivating new relationships to help identify next set of strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
Areas of Focus:
Digital and Landscape
Digital trends, particularly as it relates to new ad tech and types of data collection
Explore unique digital opportunities with vendors
Foster development of streaming ecosystem
Proactively communicate challenges and innovations across digital landscape
Awareness and Education:
Content series and newsletter
Agency investment tracker
Supply and ratings
Pulse on the marketplace and trends
Suitability for programmatic
Responsibilities:
Maintain marketplace relationships, including scheduling vendor meetings
Assist in development and presentation of media POVs
Support in marketplace education and newsletter materials
Aid in preparation of Upfront negotiations and reports
Troubleshoot billing and invoices, internally and externally with vendors
Qualifications
3+ years of agency or sales experience in TV, digital, social and programmatic strategy, planning and investment
Digital and programmatic understanding and activation
Experience and knowledge of diverse/multicultural marketplace and partner landscape
Understanding of vendors partnerships opportunities, deliverables and timelines
Strong negotiating abilities
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Able to work successfully with internal and external teams, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrates critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaption to the evolving needs of marketplace
Technical proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrates professionalism and leadership skills

Compensation Range: $59,850 - $90,620 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
