Manager II, Quality Engineering in New York, New York with S&P Global Market Intelligence, Inc.Job Duties: Assign tasks and evaluate results. Communicate with stakeholders to assess project requirements and deliverables. Execute test strategy and hands on testing. Align test scenarios with business requirements and client use cases. Serve as point of contact for the team in case issues arise. Participate in interview process and help identify potential candidates. Help with onboarding and initial training of new hires. Prepare Project documentation and communicate to stakeholders. Prepare Project plans, identify resource needs and project schedules. Review project schedule and ensure timely delivery. Collect data on defect trends, regression testing coverage and create summary reports to management. Participate in creation of team's goals and help mentor the team on how achieving the goals. Follow up on non-functional testing requirements and execution. Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methodologies. *Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed in any location in the U.S. Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques; managing mid-size projects; Exposure to budgeting and resource allocation procedures; Behavior Driven Development process and Agile methodology; and testing methodology and SDLC life cycle. *Employer will accept Bachelor's degree equivalent based on combination of degrees (i.e. 3 year foreign bachelor's degree + 2 year foreign Master's degree, or combination of degree(s) and professional work experience (e.g. 3 year foreign Bachelor's degree program + 3 or more years of progressive work experience) where determined to be equivalent to a US bachelor's degree by a qualified credential evaluation service, such as the Trustforte Corporation.The salary range for this position is $143,400 - $170,400/yr. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
