PwC US Tax LLP Manager, Corporate Tax Financial Services (Multiple Positions) in New York, New York
Manager, Corporate Tax Financial Services (Multiple Positions), PwC US Tax LLP, New York, NY. Advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs within the insurance industry while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. Provide value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. Help organizations understand and assess the tax implications of cross-border reinsurance transactions. Support clients with the complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. Participate in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new and existing clients. Supervise and coach teams. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $172,000-181,000/yr. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.Certification(s) required: U.S. CPA license or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:•Auditing the year-end income tax provision and balance sheet accounts in accordance with US GAAP income tax accounting principles (ASC 740) and U.S. federal and state corporate income tax law;•Analyzing the latest developments and proposed changes to domestic and international insurance industries;•Working with large and complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insight to clients; and•Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% required.
