Citigroup Legal Entity Governance Senior Analyst – Business Execution, VP in New York, New York

The role will be part of the NAM Markets CAO Office, working alongside others responsible for providing support on oversight and governance of the US Corporate / Broker-Dealer Chain Legal Entities, including Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc., Citigroup Financial Products Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., and Citigroup Energy Inc.

This role reports into the Chief Legal Entity Governance Officer and is a critical member of the Legal Entity Governance team.

Job Purpose:

This role supports the CEOs, Boards of Directors, Executive Committees, and sub-Committees of legal entities under management to discharge their legal and regulatory obligations, achieve the strategic objectives, operationalize their respective Risk Management Frameworks, including the development, ratification, and monitoring of the approved risk appetites, and the assessment of new products and services proposed to be booked to the legal entity.

This role is primarily focused on operationalizing Programs developed to address Citi Policy requirements, develop / monitor / track Issues and Corrective Action Plans, perform analysis, as well as produce reporting and meeting materials in support of the entities under management, 1LOD/Business Execution partners supporting said legal entities, and other members of the Legal Entity Governance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and operationalize programs intended to achieve adherence to Citi Policy requirements (e.g., Risk Identification, Risk Appetite Assessment, New Activity, Escalations, etc.) and other related initiatives in support of the legal entities under management.

  • Liaise with 1LOD / Business Execution partners supporting business activity performed on the legal entities under management to identify, verify, assess effectiveness of remediation actions, as well as monitor and track progress against identified Issues and Corrective Action Plans.

  • Perform detailed and complex analysis associated with issues impacting the legal entities under management (e.g., revenue/expense attribution, headcount, etc.), as well as design and produce appropriate reporting and presentation materials for review and challenge by the Committees and Boards of Directors of the legal entities under management.

  • Develop and manage initiatives, projects and Corrective Action Plans associated with key legal entity governance initiatives.

  • Develop communication and training materials targeting the Board of Directors, Executive Committee members, intending to raise awareness with respect to requirements and issues impacting the legal entity.

  • Proactively engage with First, Second and Third lines of defense and team members to effectively executive the above-described responsibilities.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrable team skills both within and across teams.

  • Solid understanding of mechanisms to track, report and communicate business performance.

  • Strong experience working with multiple lines of defense.

  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting.

  • Project Management.

Qualifications: ·

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of experience in financial services.

  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery, and fixed price contracts

  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
