New York University Junior Research Scientist (P.I.: Nicola Partridge Lab) in New York, New York

The laboratory of Professor Nicola Partridge, located within the NYU Dentistry Department of Molecular Pathobiology, has an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join her research group. The incumbent will be responsible for performing biochemical and molecular biology experiments and analyses of skeletal tissues in the field of signal transduction under the supervision of Dr. Partridge and personnel in her laboratory. Laboratory procedures include cell culture, qRT-PCR, enzyme assays, immunofluorescence, genotyping, uCT of bone, histomorphometry and ELISAs.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $48,500 - $55,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology or chemistry and laboratory-based experience with PCR, agarose gels, enzyme gels, enzyme assays, ELISAs. We seek highly motivated and productive individuals who enjoy working in a diverse team in a very supportive environment.
