DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide advice and deliver creative corporate finance solutions to clients for mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategic capital raising initiatives, including equity and debt issuance. Drive executive processes in Mergers and Acquisitions for both corporate and asset related acquisition and divestiture engagements, as well as debt and equity capital markets transactions, including debt issuances, follow-on offerings, and tenders. Execute mandates for clients with regards to their domestic and international operations, and work closely with JPMorgan's Investment Banking coverage and product teams across various geographies. Function as point of contact on all transaction execution and facilitate coordination between senior team members, product partners, lawyers, accountants, and all other parties involved. Support the team and bank-wide initiatives including training and developing analysts and recruiting and retaining top talent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking, Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking, Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Financial modeling and valuation; net asset value; discounted cash flow; precedent transaction; comparable company analysis valuation techniques; Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; US-based Capital markets transactions; debt; equity; US Mergers, acquisition; divestitures process experience.

Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. This position requires 10% travel to client sites domestically.
