JPMorgan Chase Healthcare Specialist Sales in New York, New York

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Act as a central point of contact across the research, generalist sales, sales traders, trading, derivatives and investment banking teams to help source new business, commercialize products, and manage risk. Provide short-term commercial views on how healthcare stocks are likely to trade based on financial statement analysis, healthcare sector trends, valuation, and sentiment to external clients as well as internal investment banking teams. Use client relationship management systems to understand clients' needs, manage and track communications, and help to source new business. Prepare daily market commentary on key news flows for the sector and publish views broadly via email and Bloomberg chats. Conduct client calls and meetings to discuss new investment ideas, trade positioning, and analysis of flows data in the healthcare space. Collaborate with healthcare investment banking on IPO pitches, primary capital raises and secondary market blocks. Work with different asset classes and functional teams to generate new client business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Analytics, Research Design, Business or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Healthcare Specialist Sales, Sales Analyst or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Analytics, Research Design, Business or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Healthcare Specialist Sales, Sales Analyst or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Bloomberg; Excel, including PivotTables to conduct statistical analysis and financial modeling; cash equities; equity derivative options; delta one; equity portfolio construction; analyzing income statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets; pitching equity investment recommendations to institutional investors; stock analysis, stock picking and alpha capture systems; equity capital markets transactions, such as IPOs or follow-ons.

Job Location: 383 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10179. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel and up to 5% international travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $226,762.00-$285,000.00 per year.
