JPMorgan Chase Global Real Estate: Program Office Head - Executive Director in New York, New York

Global Real Estate (GRE) is seeking an experienced executive to lead the evolution of best practices in GRE and oversee how GRE manages programs, with the goal of increasing the frequency of on-time and on-budget project delivery. The executive will focus on driving continuous process improvement efforts, ensure best practices are syndicated, and serve as a partner to GRE Leadership and functional/regional SMEs.

As the Global Real Estate - Program Office Head you will be accountable for developing and syndicating best practices in real estate program management across GRE global portfolio and providing oversight on implementation of GRE high priority process improvement efforts.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead continuous process improvement efforts in GRE by implementing major initiatives in key focus areas

  • Publish and syndicate updated roles & responsibilities and establish KPIs/SLAs for all roles and validate staffing ratios for functions globally

  • Conduct regional and functional trainings and offsites for program management meeting effectiveness

  • Conduct bi-monthly reviews with GRE program managers to ensure best practice uptake

  • Publish updated client guidelines and conduct client trainings

  • Manage scope form requirements and process for project definition

  • Consolidate all firmwide standards in a centralize repository and ensure program manager syndication

  • Run KPIs/SLAs review meetings with senior leadership and oversee reporting for improvements

  • Partner with GRE Leadership to prioritize roadmap for additional program management improvements and conduct ongoing trainings as necessary

  • Support functional and regional SMEs with problem solving and resource gathering for key initiatives

  • Long term, oversee GRE Program Managers (dotted line reporting) in their roles as end-to-end accountable owners of project execution

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 10+ years of experience working as a program owner and/or program management leader

  • 5+ years experience managing co-located and global teams

  • Experience in a Large-Scale Organization -Ability to lead and implement best practices and process improvements across the entire GRE organization, driving consensus across GRE matrix

  • Experience in large-scale implementation and change management preferred, especially managing diverse stakeholders

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence/present at all levels to senior audience in a concise, informative, and timely manner
