JPMorgan Chase Global Investment Banking: Priority Initiatives Team Business Management in New York, New York

Join our newly established Global Investment Banking Priority Initiatives Team (PIT) Business Management, a key player in transforming the Global Investment Banking business. As part of the Global Finance & Business Management function, we collaborate with senior management and partners to deliver priority transformation initiatives. Our role includes providing analytical support, executing high-impact projects, developing innovative solutions, and implementing new tools with Technology. We serve as subject matter experts for Global Investment Banking in wider priorities and initiatives.

As a Vice President on the Priority Initiatives Team, you will have the unique opportunity to engage with business leaders across Global Banking and Global Investment Banking. You will support global projects and initiatives that underpin JPMorgan's industry-leading Investment Banking business. This role offers the chance to deepen your understanding of complex products and contribute to the ongoing transformation of the business for future success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and act as a business liaison for technology initiatives and enhancements.

  • Lead and coordinate projects across Product and Coverage business management, in collaboration with CIB Banking F&BM senior management.

  • Establish and track new key performance indicators and senior management metrics.

  • Drive the automation of processes and the development of new KPIs/reporting.

  • Implement processes for new management-level reporting and transition steady-state production to F&BM partners.

  • Operationalize key business strategies with senior GIB management and F&BM partners.

  • Partner with senior managers to offer feedback and strategic advice.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a comprehensive understanding of both the big picture and product details.

  • Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end with senior management, with minimal oversight.

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in developing broad investment banking product knowledge.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong relationship-building capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience creating presentations for senior management and/or clients.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Experience with Tableau is a plus.

  • Prior experience in Investment Banking is highly desirable.
