We are looking for a skilled Project Manager - Systems to join our team in New York. This role is in the asset management industry, where you will be crucial in supporting our loan system migration from FIS VPM Cloud to FIS VPM On-Prem. You will have a significant role in managing various stakeholders and driving the implementation process. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the migration of our loan system from FIS VPM Cloud to a VPM on-premises version.

• Coordinate with a business analyst, a developer, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progress.

• Apply your strong project management skills to manage the project timeline, budget, and deliverables.

• Utilize your knowledge in Agile Scrum, Commercial Loans, and Asset-Based Loans to guide the team and make informed decisions.

• Leverage your experience in IT project management and asset management for effective project execution.

• Implement your skills in migration strategy and banking credit analysis to ensure a successful system transition.

• Use your strong organizational and communication skills to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.

• Apply your proactive and positive attitude to motivate the team and ensure project success.

• Use your experience in commercial lending and project management process improvement to enhance our processes and strategies.

• Lead cross-functional project management tasks to ensure all aspects of the project are coordinated and completed on time.

Requirements

• Possession of 15 years or more of experience in a project management role, preferably within the banking or financial sector

• Demonstrated expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies

• Proficiency in managing projects pertaining to commercial, secured, and asset-based loans

• Experience in loan underwriting and banking credit analysis

• Familiarity with alternative asset and asset management within the banking sector

• In-depth knowledge of the asset management industry and commercial lending

• Proficiency in VPM a must, at a minimum LoanIQ or ACBS as similar systems

• Proven experience in migration strategy

• Strong IT project management skills

• Certification in Project Management is a must

• Ability to implement project management process improvements

• Experience in managing cross-functional projects

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field is preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
