Citigroup Finance CRO CAO Team - Business Administration Lead (Hybrid) - C15 in New York, New York

The Finance Chief Risk Office (Finance CRO) team provides risk management oversight of the Finance function, including effective risk challenge and mitigation of risk for capital, liquidity and interest rate risks, Treasury investments, and private equity investments, and ensures compliance with all risk-related regulatory requirements. The Finance CRO Chief Administrative Office (CAO) team is responsible for execution, governance, and control oversight of Finance CRO, including: (i) regulatory and audit communications; (ii) transformation agenda; (iii) policies, supporting standards and procedures, and training; (iv) reporting to Board and committees; (v) internal controls; and (vi) employee engagement across the Finance CRO organization. The Business Administration lead is accountable for financial performance and management of the Finance CRO organization, driving deliverables related to resource strategy, continuity of business, P&L oversight, communications, training governance, and contractor and consultant third-party management.

Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically drives employee engagement, including the Finance CRO team Voice of the Employee (VOE) efforts.

  • Acts as Finance CRO’s Business Continuity Lead, guiding the team through the annual Continuity of Business (COB) processes.

  • Leads business administration for the Finance CRO organization, including strategic resource planning and monthly financial updates for expenses.

  • Manages and coordinates third-party commitments, including contractors, consultants and temporary resources, across the Finance CRO team.

  • Provides training governance reporting for Finance CRO organization to ensure compliance with all Citi required training by Finance CRO colleagues.

  • Manages internal communications across the Finance CRO team and provides updates of critical central deliverables to stakeholders, including Senior Management, on a timely basis.

  • Supports Manager Control Assessment (MCA) monitoring activities for the Finance CRO CAO team as needed.

  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience, including in financial performance and resource management.

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel (metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (presentation decks), and Word (writing and editing procedural and technical documentation).

  • Strong analytical capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to lead through influence in a complex matrix environment.

  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to take ownership of deliverables.

  • Ability to provide credible challenges and make difficult decisions if needed.

  • Highly adaptive, detail oriented, and demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while still maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
