ConEdison Facilities and Field Services Transportation Operating Supervisor in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 2 Years Related work experience or
Associate's Degree and 4 Years Related work experience or
High School Diploma/GED and 5 Years Related work experience
Relevant Work Experience
Minimum two years of experience supervising staff responsible for fleet automotive and equipment repair, required.
Minimum of two years of experience with fleet vehicles and equipment, required.
Minimum of three to five years' experience as a professional mechanic, required.
Two years' experience working in the field of fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs, preferred.
Two years' experience using vehicle and auto parts management inventory software, preferred.
Two years' experience leading and building dynamic teams, preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
Effective interpersonal skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
Work in, under, and on top of all types of company vehicles and/or equipment
Ability to travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies
Work with equipment with a manufacturer weight rating of 350lbs
Additional Physical Demands
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
