What we do:
We are seeking a highly skilledEnterprise Systems Engineer to join our team and help drive the evolution of our enterprise applications. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions across platforms such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Tableau, and other enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working cross-functionally with various business teams to understand their requirements, design process-driven solutions, and implement scalable technical configurations to meet organizational goals.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with business teams to analyze business cases, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement system configurations, automations, and integrations for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, and process automations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Act as a technical advisor and solutions architect, recommending best practices and improvements in system usage.
- Work closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure solutions adhere to governance and security standards.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize enterprise systems to improve reliability and user experience.
- Manage system migrations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Document system configurations, changes, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
- Partner with vendors and third-party service providers to support enterprise systems and integrations.
Who you are:
- BS degree or equivalent years of experience in related field and 4+ years of related experience in enterprise systems engineering or a related field required.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Tableau, or similar enterprise applications required.
- Strong understanding of business process design, automation, and workflow optimization required.
- Experience with API integrations, scripting, and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Python, JavaScript) required.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions while considering scalability and best practices.
- Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL processes, and enterprise governance frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments.
- Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications and SaaS platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL, database management, and data modeling preferred.
- Prior experience managing enterprise system migrations or major implementations preferred.
- Certifications in relevant enterprise applications (e.g., Atlassian Certified, ServiceNow Certified, Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
