ConEdison Engineering Supervisor - Gas Engineering Transmission Major Projects in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and two years of full-time work experience in Engineering or Operations.
Relevant Work Experience
Minimum of two years of work experience in Engineering or Operations, required.
Knowledge of computer applications, required.
Supervisory experience, preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
Ability to work with, and in, the vicinity of high voltage and/or other high-energy systems
Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. fire-retardant clothing and safety harnesses
Additional Physical Demands
Ability to read small print and symbols
Must travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies
Must be able and willing to drive within Company service territory as needed
Must be able to work additional hours and or rotating shifts as operational needs and/or system emergencies dictate
Work in an office environment including sitting, bending and extensive computer work required
Must respond to system emergencies
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers
