Actalent Electrical Engineer in New York, New York

Full Service MEP Consulting Firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer, to join their team in NYC! This is an excellent opportunity for growth, with a company that provides a flexible 2 - 3 day hybrid schedule.

Job Description:

  • Preparation of Low Voltage drawings to include the design of IT network infrastructure and cabling, video surveillance and access control layout and cabling and audio visual (AV) designs.

  • MDF/IDF room layout and design, to include rack layouts, pathways and coordination of power requirements.

  • Ability to work independently performing system layouts, preparing riser diagrams, sizing and selecting equipment.

  • Provide intelligent building systems for a variety of project types simultaneously with varying sizes and levels of complexity.

  • Coordinate with larger teams and effectively manage project scopes, budget and scheduling/deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering

  • 3+ Years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer

  • Experience working with AutoCAD MEP + Revit

  • Experience working working on healthcare & commercial projects, tenant fit outs
