Job Title: EEG Technologist - Crisis Response Location: 705 Riley Hospital Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46202 Facility: IU Health Riley Hospital for Children Pay Rate: $47 - $52 per hour Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM) Job Description: ESO Consultants is seeking a skilled and dedicated EEG Technologist to join the Neuro Diagnostics team at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a variety of EEG procedures and capable of providing high-quality care to patients in both pediatric and adult settings. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on epilepsy monitoring and critical care cases. Key Responsibilities: Perform EEG procedures, including routine EEGs, Ictal SPECT, Neurotelemetry, and sEEG monitoring. Conduct patient hook-ups using Collodion/glue techniques, ensuring accurate and efficient setup. Monitor EEG data and collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient conditions in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Trauma/Critical Care settings. Assist with adult EEG services when needed, due to collaboration with the nearby University hospital. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data using the Cerner charting system. Job Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in EEG technology; first-time travelers accepted if all other requirements are met. Certifications: Current ABRET certification BLS Certification R.EEG T. certification Weekend Requirement: No weekend work required. Floating: Clinicians must be willing to float between IU Health Riley Hospital and Methodist Hospital if requested. Work Schedule: Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week for 3x12-hour shifts; 40 hours per week for 8 and 10-hour shifts; 48 hours for 4x12-hour shifts. Additional Requirements: RTO Policy: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. One pre-approved time-off is allowed per contract. Training: Candidates must be comfortable working 5x8-hour days during the initial training period. Block Schedule: Open to accommodating block scheduling for eligible candidates.
