Education Development Assistant

Full-Time

Position Overview:

TheDevelopment Assistantprovides and performs fundraising, research, administrative, and other related duties for the Office of Education Development and Alumni Affairs, and, at times, for the larger Education Institute.

He/she/they demonstrate(s) incredible attention to detail, maintains a high level of confidentiality, possesses excellent research and data-entry skills, and is a skilled communicator.

He/she/they report(s) to theDirector, Education Development and Alumni Affairs, and contribute support in the following ways:

Provides support to Director, Education Development, including:

  • Administrative support for development-related activities, including but not limited to:

  • Liaising with exhibitors and serving as a point of contact for administrative tasks related to certain Continuing Education signature courses.

  • Managing invoicing and payment processes for Continuing Education signature courses

  • Providing support throughout the grant application and management process, as it relates to Continuing Education courses, CE&O initiatives, and other EI programming, including maintaining the grants calendar

  • Quickbase data entry and database management for Continuing Education and Alumni Affairs.

  • Overseeing the reservations process for Caspary Estate

  • Prospect research both individual and institutional.

  • Constructing mailing lists for various publication needs.

  • Collaborating with the Alumni Affairs Coordinator to assist with Alumni Dues and Fund solicitations and database upkeep, including data entry/management, acknowledgement, reconciliation, etc.

  • Provides back-up to Alumni Affairs Coordinator and Office Manager as needed.

  • Provides general updates on the progress of current assignments and projects.

  • Attends scheduled departmental and managerial meetings.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or or requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or bachelor’s degree eligible; relevant college coursework will be considered.

    Experience

  • Minimum two years previous experience in a development or non-profit role, preferably in healthcare, academia, or relevant corporate environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook.

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive communications and data.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of constituencies.

  • Ability to manage timelines, work well under pressure and deliver in a fast-paced work environment to meet business critical deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision and

  • Able to multitask and prioritize workload according to departmental need.

  • Is highly service oriented – has a desire to do what is necessary to meet the needs of the team.

  • Strong attention to detail

    Quickbase or similar CRM database experience preferred

Other Requirements

Pay Range - Minimum

USD $30.20/Hr.

Pay Range - Maximum

USD $35.70/Hr.
