Director, Sales
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Sales is responsible for planning, strategizing, and executing upcoming GIII license takebacks, such as outerwear and dresses. This is a cross-functional role that will require collaboration with many internal departments in addition to communicating the brand vision to retail partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Foster strategic customer relationships with all key accounts to drive market share, revenue and EBIT growth
Develop seasonal product strategy briefs to merchandising teams to ensure North America has the product assortments necessary to deliver expected financial results
Stay current on competitive landscape and market trends; provide this feedback to merchandising teams
Seek out opportunities to maximize use of inventory to achieve the most profitability
Work closely with North America Visual Merchandising team on product storytelling and compelling in-store presentation strategies
Develop strategic marketing plans for key accounts in partnership with NA Marketing team
Work with financial analyst to forecast and analyze sales results by customer to determine proper inventory flow to achieve successful turn on product by customer.
Analyze sales results by retailer to determine opportunities or necessary adjustments to sales plans
Analyze seasonal results and adjust strategic and annual plans accordingly
Set course for regular store visits to key markets to identify sales growth opportunities, monitor and improve in-store execution, stay close to competitor landscape

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 10+ years related experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Skills:
Prior experience in leading and managing a Sales team
High level of analytical skills, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
Possess high taste level
Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
Flexibility with schedule for Market Calendar and Special Projects
Flexibility to Travel
Pay Range:$165,000 - $200,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
