Description

Our client, a rapidly growing leader in the financial technology space, is currently searching for a Director of Revenue Accounting to join their team.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

• Researching and applying revenue guidance according to ASC 606

• Designing and implementing internal revenue accounting policies across the corporation

• Preparing journal entries and maintaining account reconciliations consistent with US GAAP

• Conducting end-to-end revenue testing for NetSuite and billing implementation

• Streamlining month and quarter-end close procedures

• Implementing and maintaining SOX controls for newly acquired entities

• Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and other ad hoc reporting as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

• Minimum 8 years of experience, public accounting background

• SaaS 606 experience required

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel & NetSuite
