Audacy Director of Product - Ad Tech in New York, New York

Overview

We’re looking for a highly experienced Director of Product to oversee the vision, strategy and roadmap for Audacy’s proprietary audio ad stack supporting live/simulcast, on-demand and podcast dynamic ad insertion and campaign management.You’ll play an integral role in helping the company achieve its ambitious revenue goals over the next several years by delivering innovative listener experiences, integrating best-in-class digital monetization partners and evolving a multi-tiered ad server algorithm for optimized campaign delivery and earn. As a leader in the product organization, you will work closely with team members across revenue, operations, programming, engineering to ensure product milestones, KPIs, and financial goals are met. We’re looking for candidates with a proven ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization, a strong aptitude for idea generation, and the ability to work with the subtleties of experience design, data-driven consumer products and data-driven iteration.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the strategic vision for the company's digital ad tech products, focusing on both direct and programmatic channels.

  • Product Development: Lead the development, enhancement, and scaling of ad tech and programmatic solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders, advertisers and the company's revenue goals.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in ad tech.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering,Ad Tech Product & Platformsteam, Revenue Operations, and Analytics teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of ad tech solutions.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with ad tech vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal performance of ad solutions.

  • Data & Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to optimize ad performance, targeting, and revenue generation, providing regular reports to stakeholders.

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all ad tech solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the highest levels of data privacy and security.

  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Customer Focus: Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring ad tech solutions meet the needs of Audacy and provide an excellent user experience.

Qualifications

More About You:

Required & Preferred:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on ad tech within the digital media industry, preferable with Audio.

  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of ad tech ecosystems, including direct and programmatic advertising, ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, CCSs, optimization models, forecasting, inventory management and programmatic ids and graphs, attribution and measurement.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and the use of analytics tools to drive product decisions and optimizations.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Innovation: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and drive innovation in product development.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the digital audio and sports media landscape, including key trends and emerging technologies.

  • Results-oriented: Strong track record of delivering successful ad tech products that drive revenue growth and enhance user experience.

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $180,000 - $200,000 annually. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
