The Director, Marketing Communication and Brand, is a key position on the Marketing Leadership Team at IDT. She/He will be working closely with the VP of Marketing to develop and deploy strategic marketing campaigns that elevate IDTs brand and reputation. We need an experienced and creative leader with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be excited to improve processes and be growth oriented, with an interest in building out best practices for campaign development and deployment.

This position is part of the Marketing Organization located in the US and will be fully remote. At IDT, we are one global team. The Director of Marketing Communications and Brand leads a team including creative design, marketing communication writers, and trade shows and events. This leader collaborates heavily with other marketing campaign owners on product launches, brand integrations, and regional and global campaigns to produce impactful marketing programs.

This is a highly cross functional role requiring both strategic and tactical execution, strong program management, and ability to lead a team. This leader will work closely with product marketing, sales, and technical stakeholders to develop processes for a high growth marketing organization and should have exceptional problem-solving skills.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and lead a strategic vision that increases awareness of IDT’s corporate brand, upholds and enhances the company’s corporate reputation and strengthens IDT’s position as a leading company to work for within the genomics industry. Partner with product marketing, PR and channel teams to execute on deployment of external messaging across digital channels.

  • Deliver impactful marketing campaigns using digital channels that create awareness of IDT products and services, nurture customers along their buying journey, and drive direct ecommerce revenue or qualified leads to the sales team.

  • Provide leadership in defining, mapping, and documenting key marketing campaign processes and developing standard work for the team. Provide recommendations to senior leadership on improvements to marketing processes that will drive scalability and efficiency.

  • Manage agency/contractor relationships to agree on scope of work and deliver results on time and within budget

  • Ensures quality and timely delivery of projects within budget and on brand and message

  • Demonstrates and upholds behavior consistent with the Danaher Core Values and delivers the Integrated DNA Technologies experience to customers and other business associates

    Essential requirements include:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a leading Marketing Communication or Brand Strategy role or similar position in the Life Sciences or Diagnostics markets. Previous experience in genomics, NGS, or gene editing markets a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing, Business, or Communication) or equivalent experience

  • Prior experience leading a high performing marketing team and inclusive leadership style.

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation; especially when working with teammates who may be technical or non-technical

  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools including Kapost

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • MBA a plus

  • Prior experience in a Danaher operating company; comfort and familiarity with DBS systems and tools and / or continuous process improvement / lean manufacturing principles. #LI-remote

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
