Director, HR Communications - PVH Corp.

Position summary:

We are seeking a Director of HR Communications to lead critical HR communications, content and programs that align, inspire and engage global associates and the PVH HR community. This role will drive associate engagement, support a positive workplace culture, and strengthen PVH's reputation as an employer of choice.

The Director will collaborate with enterprise and brand communications teams and the HR leadership team to ensure HR communications are consistent across the organization. They will report to the VP of Internal Communications and support the VP of Internal Comms in driving PVH’s CPO communications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with the VP of Internal Communications in the development of the communications strategy and roadmap for the Global People function.

  • Implement a continuous flow of communication, through existing and new channels, to support PVH's transformation agenda, highlight employee initiatives, and champion alignment with PVH's organizational strategies and culture.

  • Build and implement internal content and narratives that align, encourage, and involve global associates in PVH's vision, strategy, and priorities. These initiatives should boost associate engagement, performance, and deliver measurable impact.

  • Increase employee awareness and understanding of HR tools, processes, and programs through creative campaigns.

  • Ensure that key groups within HR and PVH are advised of key initiatives, especially for large organizational change efforts. Partner closely with other HR and company-wide communicators to deliver coordinated messages across business units.

  • Work with the HR team to support the development and execution of distinctive branding and employer value proposition strategies.

  • Drive global communications and process improvement efforts for People practices, initiatives, and benefits, and support the VP of Internal Comms in managing communications for relevant organizational changes.

  • Support the Internal Communications team in ensuring consistent storytelling across all associate touchpoints.

Position requirements:

  • 7-10 years of writing, editorial, and/or communications experience. Experience in Internal Communications, and/or journalism/editorial is encouraged.

  • Extensive experience within HR communications, specifically change and culture management.

  • Significant experience with content creation in internal communications, organizational culture, and associate engagement.

  • Outstanding writing and copy-editing skills, with the ability to synthesize sophisticated concepts and translate them into simple, clear, and effective communications. Outstanding verbal and communication skills.

  • Strong HR functional knowledge including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards.

  • Profound knowledge of employee communications and culture-building strategies; past achievements in developing successful internal and HR-related communications that convert critical thinking into practical action plans and results.

  • Extensive understanding of outstanding internal communications practices and proficiency with pioneering communications tools.

  • Ability to articulate and represent the employee voice.

  • Show an approach focused on learning, critical thinking skills, and strong problem-solving capabilities; recognizes opportunities and possibilities in challenges; takes pleasure in overcoming the impossible.

  • Comfort and confidence working alongside senior executives in fast-paced, high-stakes situations; consistent track record to successfully influence, facilitate, and partner with leaders at all levels.

  • Ability to roll up one’s sleeves and complete tasks; track record of achieving excellent outcomes.

  • Hyper attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and with quick turn-around times.

  • Experience with social media and new media channels, and ability to integrate in a high impact way to engage employees.

  • Successful at forming relationships and collaborating across a highly matrixed global environment; flexibility to work across different time zones to ensure strong alignment and seamless execution.

  • Strong business insight (experience in retail, apparel, and/or consumer industries is a plus).

Pay Range:$220,000 - $240,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
