BNP Paribas Director, Global Macro Sales in New York, New York

Director, Global Macro Sales for BNP Paribas Securities Corp. in New York, NY. As a Senior member of Foreign Exchange (FX) sales coverage, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and retaining a robust portfolio of clients that actively add to the production and success of the BNPP global markets platform. Will leverage senior client relationships to grow volumes and revenues and diversify products traded with Financial Institution (FI) accounts. Will work with BNPP stakeholders to develop tailored client coverage plans to ensure consistent growth and momentum. Leverage BNP Paribas’s global resources in trading, strategy, and economics to add value to institutional clients across Developed and Emerging Markets. Will develop and deliver consistent content for strategic clients by leveraging our internal resources and generating dialogue with key decision-makers. Will coordinate with peers in London and Asia to institutionalize accounts, provide seamless global coverage, and exchange information in real time about markets and clients. Will work closely with colleagues in other business lines to uncover cross-selling opportunities and help promote the firm’s brand in the US. Will grow BNP Paribas’s market share in the FX product by delivering first class service and solutions to clients. Will remain up to date with market developments, maintain and grow professional skills by participating in mandatory training, and take advantage of the firm’s development opportunities. Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business or related field plus six (6) years of experience as a Director, Global Macro Sales or related occupation performing FX Global Macro Sales and Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales including business planning, revenue generation and relationship management within an international bank or international financial services organization or, alternatively, a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business or related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Global Macro Sales or related occupation performing FX Global Macro Sales and Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales including business planning, revenue generation and relationship management within an international bank or international financial services organization. Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) with FX spot and derivatives structuring, foreign exchange cash and derivative trades to consult on hedging opportunities for fixed income and equity portfolios and invest in the FX product; (DE) with macro-economics investment and hedging opportunities determining strategic levels to add and rotate trades, in a macro environment; (DE) with restricted currency trading, restricted markets and regulatory requirements, hedging solutions and liquidity consultation for client exposures in restricted markets; (DE) leveraging in-depth knowledge of the US, Canada, and Latin America platforms to assist cross-regional teams in designing and implementing high-level strategic projects, shaping the development and future operations within the Americas region, and effectively advising clients and colleagues in navigating across different economies and financial landscapes; and (DE) with counterparty credit risk and client lifecycle solutions, managing appropriate risk limits and the development of internal frameworks, policies, and procedures throughout client lifecycle. Salary range: $285,000.00 to $315,000.00/year. Travel Requirement: 30% domestic and international travel.
