Robert Half Desktop Support Engineer in New York, New York
Description We are in the search for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in the legal industry, located in New York, New York, 10005-1108, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various IT tasks, including addressing customer inquiries, ensuring the efficient operation of our systems, and maintaining accurate customer records.
Responsibilities:
• Effectively process and respond to user issues and inquiries related to our internal systems, including Windows 10/11, Azure, Active Directory, O365, iOS/Android.
• Actively monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
• Utilize your knowledge of iManage/Legal industry document management systems to improve our processes and service delivery.
• Leverage your IT experience to develop and implement strategies for improving our IT systems and infrastructure.
• Maintain a systematic problem-solving approach, adapting quickly to changing priorities and maintaining a sense of ownership and drive.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Prioritize excellent customer service, organization, multitasking, and communication skills in all tasks.
• Be prepared to lift and move up to 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, as required by the role.
• Utilize your experience with video conferencing systems, security systems, and networking/servers to enhance our IT operations. Requirements • Candidate must possess a thorough understanding of Active Directory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 is essential
• Experience with iManage is required for this role
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are necessary
• Experience in a legal industry is a plus
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to stay updated with advancements in technology and incorporating them into the work environment
• Strong customer service skills for dealing with end-users
• Flexibility to work outside of regular hours when required for system updates or resolving issues
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
