Robert Half Desktop Support Engineer in New York, New York

Description We are providing an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer in the legal industry, based in New York. In this role, you will be tasked with handling the technological needs of our team, including troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining our IT systems, and providing support to our team members.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently resolve technical issues and inquiries from team members

• Handle the maintenance and troubleshooting of the Windows 10/11 operating systems and Active Directory

• Provide support for iOS/Android devices

• Oversee the upkeep and functionality of video conferencing and security systems

• Maintain accurate records of IT issues and their resolutions

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems

• Support the use and management of iManage/Legal industry document management systems

• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a high level of performance under pressure

• Deliver excellent customer service to team members requiring technical support

• Maintain a systematic and organized approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment Requirements • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Active Directory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems.

• Experience working within the Legal industry, understanding its unique IT requirements.

• Ability to provide technical support and assistance to a diverse user base.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a user-friendly manner.

• Proven track record of maintaining and improving IT systems in a fast-paced environment.

• Relevant certifications or degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
