Responsible for coordinating textile design for woven fabrics used for bedding and related home decorating products with production. Utilize knowledge in fine arts and graphic design to facilitate the development of styles from design to production, taking into consideration design trends, market demand, and production capacity and feasibility. Coordinate between the design team and production facilities overseas to generate preproduction samples, and final products in order to ensure truthful rendering of design ideas in the products. Perform design related job duties by using tools and applications, including Adobe Creative Suite ( photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat). Review portfolios of textile patterns/geometries/design and suggest changes based on feedback from the manufacturing facilities. Keep up to date with design trends for textile products and accessories, and present trends and concepts to management.
