The role

Tom’s of Maine & hello are part of the Colgate-Palmolive Company - a caring, innovative growth company that is reimagining a healthier future for all people, their pets and our planet.

We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to help us deliver profitable and sustainable growth in the Natural Channel. In this role you will manage the entire channel and its Go-to-Market - broker, redistributors (UNFI Natural & KeHe) & retailers (Whole Foods, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, Fresh Thyme, Coops, etc).You’ll engage key stakeholders both internally and externally and own the P&L to help Tom’s of Maine & hello deliver its objectives and key results.

We’re looking for someone who

  • Takes ownership: delivers the goals, overcoming the challenges in a complex Go-to-Market

  • Is a skilled negotiator: maximizes the return for Tom’s & hello while fostering strong partnerships

  • Leverages analytics to spot opportunities and make objective recommendations

  • Effectively influences stakeholders: retailers, brokers, redistributors, cross-functional teams

What you will do

  • Be the natural channel expert & growth champion! Engage cross-functional teams in a matrix organization by raising awareness of the growth opportunities and harnessing support to address them

  • Be a translator! Turn Tom's and hello strategies into the customers plans and 5Ps execution, showing how each brand’s unique contribution can contribute to the overall category growth

  • Be a storyteller! Engage customers through creative and fact based (data & insights) recommendations. Adjust the narrative in a way that resonates with each stakeholders

  • Be an entrepreneur! Own your P&L planning and management. Understand the opportunities to drive profitable for both Tom’s of Maine and hello in the complex natural channel

  • Be a leader! Inspire, develop and support your direct report to achieve its business and career goals

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 8+ years Account Management and selling experience

  • 4+ years of experience in the natural channel

  • Experience managing a full P&L

  • Experience with analytics tools and syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS)

Preferred qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience managing an agency/broker

  • 4+ years experience managing redistributors

  • Experience working in consumer product goods

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $115 200,00 - $163 000,00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
