The Copy Editor is responsible for corroborating information created by the department’s content team with supporting documentation. They will work with the other content teams to establish standards for product categories and ensure these standards are consistently applied. The Copy Editor will strive to gain a deep understanding of their assigned product categories.

A Copy Editor will ideally have specific knowledge or experience in their product category:

• Photography

• Pro Video

• Lighting

  Copy Editors are responsible for reviewing and editing product descriptions for less-complex items in their assigned category. They are expected to work with the writing teams to ensure consistency and quality on our product descriptions.

  Essential Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing SKUs for quality and consistency

  • Attend meetings to develop category-level standards

    Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of assigned product category

  • Strong writing skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
