Jacobs Construction/Design Manager- Transit Facilities in New York, New York

Do you have an appreciation and expertise in managing design and construction of major transit projects? If so, we’ve been looking for you!

By joining our team, we’ll have you demonstrate your experience with construction/design elements of rail/transit projects of rehabilitation and repair work while you serve as the on-site administrator and shall be responsible for the supervision of the Consultant’s Construction/Design team.

You’ll run point on work scope, budgets, estimating and schedules while working within a "paperless" environment as all project documentation will be maintained and stored in electronic fashion per MTA C&D’s established Records Management procedure.

• Shall have a construction/engineering/architectural or related degree.

• experience in managing design and construction of major transit projects.

• Knowledge of MTA and other MTA railroad operations.

• project management scheduling and estimating, technical and project coordination skills.

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and industry safety standards (i.e., OSHA.).

• Maintain Roadway Worker Protection, OSHA, and other necessary training during the Project.

• Maintain a valid Driver's License throughout the life of the Project.

• Knowledge of relevant MTA, MTA C&D and NYCT Policies and Procedures.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• New York PE, RA, or CCM is preferred but not required.

• Amtrak experience
