Wells Fargo Compensation Analytics Director in NEW YORK, New York
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Compensation Analytics leader to help shape the design and implementation of our Compensation Programs, Policies and Processes through data-driven insights and analytics that aligns with our business strategy and risk & controls framework.
In this role, you will:
Manage a team to design and deliver accurate and insightful reports and presentations to executive management at the Operating Committee level for compensation planning activities, including base salary and variable compensation accruals and expenses
Lead the design and implementation of dashboards and other tools to facilitate data-driven compensation decisions
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's compensation plans and develop analytics to evaluate the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation programs
Identify and implement opportunities to improve techniques used to analyze compensation data
Manage the collection and analysis of compensation survey and benchmarking data, in collaboration with compensation consulting partners, to ensure market competitiveness
Establish data governance standards to ensure accuracy, reliability and security of data; implement and maintain control measures
Stay informed about regulatory, market, and practice changes and trends within the field of compensation
Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals across Human Resources, Finance, Technology, Legal
Provide subject matter expertise on Compensation Analytics for compensation-related initiatives
Lead of team of Compensation Consultants through training, development and the allocation of work and resources
Required Qualifications
8+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications
Proven experience in Compensation Analytics, preferably within the financial services industry
Solid understanding of compensation principles, regulations, market trends
Advanced proficiency in HR management software and compensation management software (e.g. Workday), Microsoft Applications (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Strong proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools and techniques tools (e.g. Alteryx, Python/R, Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and data management skills
Ability to convey a story through analysis, make sound decisions and recommendations
Strong project management skills. Ability to lead a team through multiple, long-term projects and implement solutions
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization using strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Pay Range
$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
