Neuberger Berman Client Service Associate in New York, New York

Summary:

Join Neuberger Berman Private Wealth as a Client Services Associate. You will provide key operational support to a team of Wealth Advisors. We seek a proactive individual who is passionate about financial markets and eager to contribute to a skilled team. This role offers a unique perspective on our Private Wealth Management business.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations and address all client service needs.

  • Serve as a liaison among Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Operations, and clients.

  • Start the new account opening process and assist clients with necessary documentation.

  • Handle account maintenance tasks, including funds disbursements, address changes, charitable gifting, transfers, billing, and client-directed trade orders.

  • Maintain regular client contact regarding account documents, updates, performance, and inquiries.

  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, preparing correspondence, filing, and managing travel and expense reports.

  • Support marketing efforts, including organizing mailings, tracking event attendance, and preparing presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses within the first 6 months.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Salesforce and Concur is a plus.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow up effectively.

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Team player with a collaborative spirit.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $60,000-$80,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
