Neuberger Berman Client Data Analyst in New York, New York

Our New York office is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Client Data Strategy Team. The team is responsible for the acquisition, attribution, maintenance, and integrity of client data for our Distribution organization. The role requires close partnership with Reporting & Analytics, CRM, Finance, Technology and external vendors as we consider enterprise-wide improvements to our data and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Management, Sales Reporting, CRM and Finance teams to drive data processes for sales reporting and compensation purposes

  • Participate in the development and implementation of complex workflows using Alteryx and Tableau for data integrity and analytics

  • Conduct analyses and tests of sales data requirements in partnership with Technology that conform to enterprise data management standards

  • Assist in defining, documenting, and maintaining process flows that are fit for purpose; responsible for maintaining relevant policies and procedures

  • Adopt an ownership mindset over client data, systems and processes

  • Focus on enhancing, streamlining, and automating processes.

  • Utilize various sources to verify asset and transaction details for exception management and resolution

  • Build and execute robust reconciliation processes

  • Demonstrate broad adherence to best practices in data management processes and build procedures to ensure data integrity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Computer Science or related field of study

  • One to three years’ progressive experience in Asset Management with a focus on Data and Analytics

  • Demonstrable proficiency in tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Python and SQL required

  • Experience working with relational databases is highly desirable.

  • Experience with business intelligence analysis and project management skills

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks within strict timeframes

  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment yet able to work independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of DST TA2000, Salesconnect/SalesVision, and Salesforce is a plus

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $65,000-$80,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
