Job Summary

Sam Schwartz, a TYLin Company is seeking an experienced and confident Civil Designer. We are seeking a Drafter proficient in roadway and utility infrastructure design and the governmental and regulatory agency approvals processes within the New York City metropolitan area. The selected candidate would work with the Site/Civil Engineering design department in the New York City office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Preparation of construction documents in AutoCAD.

• Proficient in Civil 3D

• Experience / Knowledge in Microstation is a plus

• Remaining up to date on regulatory agency standards, and review procedures.

• Oversight of design and report document production.

• Other related duties associated with the job.

Qualifications

• Experience in geometric and roadway striping design, site layout design, site grading, site utilities design, and stormwater management modeling is preferred.

• Minimum 3-6 years of experience, including NYC experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Traffic/Transportation Engineering.

• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.

• Ability to travel within the NYC metropolitan area.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Information

Sam Schwartz, a TYLin Company, is committed to Pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range for this position $75,000 - $112,600 annually.
