Provide analytical support as well as develop complex financial models that will be used in revenue enhancement or expense reduction initiatives. Utilize data infrastructure by extracting, aggregating, and dissecting financial data and performance metrics for management review and action.This internship will be based out of our Minneapolis, MN or New York City, New York offices.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities vary depending on assigned projects(s) and may include:Develop analytic models and data analysis to support business transformation recommendations. Analyze business situations, design, and build statistical based models leveraging multiple data sources and tools for complex risk analysis across the company businesses to produce data driven recommendations to business leaders. Evaluate current practices and methods for reporting and analyzing data.Partner with business, technology, and vendors to complete baseline activities and opportunities to improve current state and transform process and change initiatives, resulting in improved economics including both revenue and expenses. In depth business process modeling capability, organizational design and financial acumen are critical to the success of this role, as it is a balance of finance, strategy, operations, and negotiations.Gather data and analyze problems across projects to recommend solutions to strategic transformation leads. Work with the teams to execute project plan according to objectives and timeline.Required QualificationsCurrently pursuing a master's degree in Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Quantitative Finance, or similarGraduation date of December 2025 or May / June 2026Experience coding in PythonPreferred QualificationsHigh degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethicsProven organization skills and ability to manage time effectivelyExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsAbility to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with othersProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAbout Our CompanyWe're a diversified financial services leader with more than $1 trillion in assets under management and administration as of 2022. Base salaries are determined, in part, based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
