About the role:

The Financial Institutions Payments and Wealth (FIP&W) Administration team is responsible for driving strategic initiatives for AP&W. They create and implement strategy to drive margin expansion via cost reduction, revenue increase, or efficiency building within the division. We balance time between short term goals and thoughtful go-forward strategy for optimizing operations with the lines of business and the leveraged functions.

What you will be doing?

* Performs analyses of the business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment for appropriate FIS segment, division, group or line of business.
* Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to manager or project leader.
* Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
* Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.
* Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices.
* Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/return on investment.
* Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.
* Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities.
* May train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures.
* May perform special projects upon request and on occasion.
* May provide coaching and/or guidance to less experienced Business Analysts.
* Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.Added bonus if you have:

* Knowledge of the basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies
* Knowledge of a wide range of interface design, development and debugging tools, techniques and methodologies
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
* Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
* Ability to work independently and intuitive ability to prioritize assignments
* Must be dependable and able to meet and fulfill obligations
* Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal customers.
* Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise with other resources
* Must be highly flexible and adapt to changing priorities
* Must be detail-oriented and thorough in completing tasks
* Willing to take on responsibilities and challenges
