About the team:

You will become part of a global team of talented resources supporting a world class Credit and Debit transaction processing platform used in many countries around the world. Each team member is valued for their unique talents, diverse skill set, way of thinking, experiences, idea generation and problem solving. They communicate openly with each other, sharing their thoughts, opinions, and ideas with members of their team. Open communication is key to ensure we the team stays focused on assigned goals, expected results, and provide the support needed to be successful in this role

What you will be doing:

YOU will be joining a team of experienced software support engineers whose primary responsibility is to ensure the Debit Card processing platform FIS provides for our clients maintain high levels of availability and quality. Your ability to collaborate, think creatively, and understand business and application-level data is key to our success. Additionally, in this role you will work with various internal product support teams to ensure priorities are met, customer issues are well understood, and the team has information required to solve tough problems.

  • Performs review of major issues to develop next steps in resolution
  • Analyzes methods used in support of the client and recommends change for improvements
  • Assist in educating staff on application and process function
  • Develops support awareness and coverage plans that align with application client requirements

What you bring:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • Ability to analyse data points in order to develop solutions to tough problems
  • Ability to collaborate and team build in a global support model
  • SQL/DB query skills
  • Proficiency in software development and break fix process
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to audiences at many levels of the organization
  • A minimum of 7 years working in a business analyst role

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience in large scale Mainframe processing
  • Financial transactional experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Project Management training
