Neuberger Berman Business Analyst - CIO Office, Private Wealth in New York, New York

Summary:

NB Private Wealth oversees approximately $65 billion in assets for individuals, families and charitable institutions. The NB Private Wealth Investment Group leads the investment process developing comprehensive portfolio solutions including the development of strategic asset allocation models, tactical asset allocation recommendations in conjunction with the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee, manager research and selection across a broad range of asset classes and strategies, portfolio construction and risk management.

The Investment Group Analyst will support the day-to-day responsibilities of the Investment Group across all three of the Group’s functions: Investment Strategy, Investment Communications, and Investment Platform. The role will offer broad exposure to multi-asset class portfolio construction, manager due diligence, investment communications and content, data analysis, and business development/client management support. This position is suitable for individuals with limited research experience but strong analytical skills who also want to be directly involved in investment-related activities for a growing Private Wealth business.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze data to assist in the creation of materials to be used in business development/client management

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses on investment and economic related topics to contribute to the Group’s content (whitepapers, presentations, webinars, etc.)

  • Participate in manager research/due diligence efforts

  • Contribute to and deliver investment related communications with guidance

  • Support team with ad-hoc projects and requests

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years industry experience, preferably in Asset/Wealth Management

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work on a team but also understand instructions quickly and work independently

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Bloomberg/Factset/Morningstar

  • Series 7 and 66 exams preferred

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
